apple, panda and panda baby...

2nd HK day for panda...

Hmm today is panda's 2nd day in HK, and the day after apple's concert... Here now rain heavy and wind big big apple and baby cold cold... Wonder wad's panda doing in HK now and whether its cold cold there oso... Last nite concert was a success and everyone praise apple hehe apple happy happy...

Now shall tell panda abt yesterday's story...

Apple yesterday reached sch at 11am wif my yangqin box coz the school accidentally threw one away... Den reach there nothing to do stoned for abt half an hour, den started packing and carrying instruments and had vegetarian lunch in canteen... The china gal (she had erhu accompaniment) say the yangqin yin1 se4 not gd and ask me to tune and give them a nicer yangqin so i asked her to use the one i was using lor... Den i thot she beri rude and bossy but den she offered to help carry the yangqin so still quite nice lar...

After lunch we set off for s'pore conference hall, den vesak day CTE massive jam, so the bus went by small road... We left at abt 1pm reach there 1.45pm... Rehearsal supposed to start at 2, but after carrying instruments and changing, only started abt 2.30pm... Hehe apple's junior say apple cool cool in black shirt and she oso say i cute :P

So we rehearsed till abt 6pm den the china ppl quite friendly wif me and liane lor... We gave them present during lunch den at the venue they oso gave us present... Liane got candle and i got tea leaves... After rehearsal was dinner, chicken rice... Den the gals makeup and apple and junior go tune the yangqin on stage coz not beri zhun3... So rush rush rush everything before 7 den daniel call say he reach and i went out to meet him which i wasnt supposed to... Helped him claim back $10 for the tix coz he pay liao but the person say havent pay...

Den went backstage and got ready to chu1 chang3... Liane was super nervous... Apple was worried abt solo... So started the concert... 1st song a few glitches coz everyone nervous and all, but 2nd song was almost perfect... Den apple's solo is in 4th song, my heart was like pounding, but apple took a deep breath and put myself into the music, imagining... Den i played it and it was good... only 1 small small mistake at the high notes which was soft and nobody heard hehe... Den i played the whole song wif all my heart and soon it was over... Walked off stage and conductor praise apple he pat my shoulder and say "tan2 de2 bu4 cuo4" :)

Den Liane beri sad coz she say she committed a lot of mistakes... Apple had to console her... She say this is her last concert and 1st time (except last yr which we both werent beri prepared coz of short time) she commit so many mistakes lor... Den i say its ok doesnt matter jus set ur mind on the later songs... Den got a senior of hers trying to zhui1 her lor... send her big big bouquet backstage den she paiseh and she dun like him... den she beri sad oso coz he embarrassed her by asking "who's liane" backstage until everyone look over...

After dat was interval and i went out to look for daniel and pearlyn and isa... Daniel said i was PERFECT hehe apple so happy... den apple mummy say y i got solo neber tell her... She say my 3rd aunt say "liao3 bu4 qi3" yay...

2nd half was the liu3 qin2 solo den the whole orchestra committed a lot of mistakes lar... but nvm think the audience didnt notice... and think the mike got prob oso... the liuqin beri soft lei we on stage cudnt hear a thing... dunno if the audience heard it... Oh and during first half the suo3 na4 solo beri good... coz it imitated human voice and laughter etc... den beri funny... and the audience laughed lor... beri good atmosphere... made everyone high... den everyone clap and cheer for the soloist...

After liuqin solo was the combined song... Den when i walked onstage the beijing yangqin ppl havent queue in line yet lor... beri huang1 zhang1, den when i was onstage found out that we forgot to bring scores for the encore piece for the beijing ppl coz they left it in our school lolx... so was quite lost as to wad to do... The combined song beri majestic and beri well performed... den the encore piece... Me and liane shifted our yangqin further back so the beijing ppl can try to look at our score frm behind lolx... Beri nice song, den got shouting part... den we shout and suddenly the audience started clapping and shouting wif us... was shocked... Found out that it was the tj students, the conductor told them beforehand i think... totally upped the whole atmosphere lor den apple beri high lolx... Den the 2nd last bar had to do something called "gliss" (tell u wad it is next time) den apple's qin2 zhu2 flew out! and landed in front of the conductor!!!! LOL... was so shocked and embarrassed... and the last note i play wif one hand lolx... den apple kept am4 chio3-ing... my parents didnt see but daniel saw it! lolx... liane oso didnt see...

Hmm den was the end and when the emcees said the concert "dao4 ci3 jie2 shu4" apple beri sad... looked at audience there and the bright lights... and thought this cud really be the last time le... Beri shi1 luo4... den Isa gave apple a surprise! She gave me a sunflower hehe so nice... apple so happy... after dat the beijing yangqin ppl took foto wif me and liane and got our emails den gave us their contacts lor... think i might wanna keep in contact... Qifeng say they like me coz they always try to tok to me lolx... Apple muz be really cute hehez... :P

So thats the end of the concert... den we went back to school... oh and at the backstage i was suddenly dragged into the cargo lift and forced to carry instruments into the lorry... den qifeng call say only my bag left in the room there lor so i rush back to take my stuff and rush onto the bus... Den reach home lei4 lei4 and slept at abt 1am... Panda baby oso lei lei but he happy happy abt concert he say nice nice...
