It's apple 2nd bookout soon and panda is sooo looking forward to it.. Well, it would be apple's longest bookout for a long time to come so we'd better treasure it ba...
ytd was a sad day for panda cos panda got back my results and were soo very dissapointed... Only 1 module fell within my expectation, which was Engg professionalism (B+) Biomedical was ok (B+) also and that's about it. Strangely, the modules which i spent the most time on, reading books borrowed from the library, trying examples from the TB were bad, Control Systems (B) and Motors and Drives (B-)!! Dissapointed with the HR module also, got B even thou one of teh questions was teh same as my project topic.. Hmmm panda have already put in 100% effort dunno why results still so poor... one of the worse in the 3.5 years, and pullin my CAP down to 3.96:(.... Panda made a calculation and anything less than a A- for FYP will mean that Panda would be back to 2nd Class lowerle... sad sad... Haiz,think should be more careful in selection of modules ba.. maybe some modules are like no matter how hard I study, still cannot score de:(
Apple never call the past 2 days, glad to hear from apple today thou. Well, apple finally reach the tekan days... I guess the best is yet to be ba:) It's gonna be a daily routine that recruits get tekaned everyday- doing pushups for punishment will be a norm- just a matter of how many:) But apple muz remember never to let those things affect your mood. In many occasions the instructors have to find even the smallest fault to punish the recruits, if not life will be too easy le:) so panda shall emphasize that even when apple get punished, apple muz take it like a MAN and jux treat as a way of keeping fit lor.. jux treat the whole BMT experience as a learning place to do things fast fast, and to be independant, and to keep fit ba.
Jux left with Thur, Fri x 1/2. 1.5 days can see apple le! Let's go eat ice-cream, watch deathnote, shopping, hug hug, clubbing, eat supper, new year countdown, talk on phone... do all the things we've missed out over the past 2 weeks!!
Missing Apple, Day 10
It's over 4am le, panda was so tired, but juz cudn't seem to be able to sleep. So I woke up and started to write an entry, hoping to be able to sleep after this. Panda also dunno whether its due to excitment of being able to meet apple, or due to worry/ sadness. Dunno why, but apple always sound depressed or sad wif life in army. This makes panda and panda baby worry also lor.. Panda wan apple to adjust to BMT life quickly, and not be so sad everyday lor...
actually army life really isn't really that bad de, apple muz learn to take everything lightly. Although panda understand that life in BMT could be stressful and tiring due to the fast pace and constant shouting here and there, apple muz learn to take thigs easily, and learn to "filter out" the stress. Dunno how to say, but panda also learnt to take things with positive attitude or look at things in the brighter side. Sometimes althou the instructors might tekan the us, but panda always took it in the "fun" way. Even when bein punished to do push ups, apple should also treat it as a fun activity, and everything will be over very soon de...
Althou' it is inevitable that apple may miss home or miss panda or baby, apple muz also make ur life easily by trying to forget about the things outside, and very quickly 5 days will pass and we can meet each other again.. Well, sad or happy, you still have to go thru the days in BMT. Why not take everything easily, mkinglife easier for both apple and panda, than to remain pessimistic and make life miserable?? Apple muz promise panda to remain cheerful inarmy, and when you book out durin the weekend, we muz enjoy ourselves and not feel sad k?

Missing Apple, Day 9
It's been 9 loooong dayzzz... kinna having mixed feeling now. 9days has be so long without apple to go out wif, or to tok to. kinna miss the good old days. But as promised, we muz try to adapt to the new life and get used to it. Although apple is far far away in the south china sea, apple shud noe that panda will be guai guai and take good care of panda baby, so dun need to worry abt us de. We still have our weekends tgt and apple can always call us durin ur free time to hear our voice. Meanwhile, apple juz have to enjoy ur days in BMT. It really will be a fun experience when u look back at the days in tekong in future.. Although the specs there may be fierce fierce or tekan u all, its their job aniwae and apple will realise that they are actually nice ppl when u r nearin ur POP..
Ytd had been a *busy day for panda.. Panda went to skool do project at 11 pluz after wakin up at abt 10.. then met swee heng at skool then take train to woodlands meet alan for dinner.. but we were kinna hungry so we bot a waffle each to eat first. After alan reached, i wanted to eat KFC (again) but alan was health conscious so we ate at the food court - the banquet at causeway point. Panda ate Nasi Pandang- Malay food again:) Grr the swee heng wanted me help him be his chaffeur durin his GF's 12th Birthday.. drive them up and down from Mt fabor and help him bring the flower in my car.. Grr like I'm his ahmad liddat then i rejected.... Hmmm he always think i very sua ku, cos little friends, thendoubt i even went Vivo city - when i think i went there more times then him lor... hmmm he always say little things that make ppl angry,but he dunno wan... then i somehow mentioned to him weijun got fatter and got tummy le, then weijun reached he said that to him... make me sopai sehlor... this makes me all teh more dun wan to helphim le..
After that we went the ary sect com place play MJ, reached abt 7 pluz. then panda play first round lost $22 le... (OOps)... Then durin the game they had smses and calls, then sweeheng say onli i dun haf ppl sms me.. Grrr!! when apple smsed me at 10 pluz, then he shocked why go ppl smsme... grr think he very simple minded lor.. made me so pissed.. but panda always play first round everytime lose de... first round ended at abt 11 plus then we played 2nd round. Weijun arrived at ard 11 pluz cos he had some meetin thingy. Hee hee the first round ended at abt 3 and panda won back $9(phew:)) the third round panda shared the game wif wei jun.. his luck very good de, but he dun really noe the tactics of mj, juz anihow play de.. so panda helped him to watch then we wn $20 in third round, splitted 1/2 1/2 Hee hee... so luckily panda overall onli lost a few dollars.. W went home at abt 6 liddat then panda reached homepanda baby still awake he waitin forpanda to sleep.. so can...we slept tillabt 2pm..
Grr as i'm typin this chee kiang called say later got "mini-class gatherin" at 7pm... at lot 1.... grr!! so bo liao always class gatherin... haiz.. budden nvm la... juz go there kill time relax a bit lor.. tmr afternoon liddat goin for ktv with keeto and joe andmaybe keeto's friend again.. grr.. kinna sianz of goin ktv wif him liao lei.. always sing same songs again... budden tmr can meet apple le!!! panda baby so excited le.. he scared apple no hair cannot recognize apple wor.. Apple muz wear the same perfume so that we canrecognize u k!! hmmm panda shall have the programme for tmr planned:)
Missing Apple, Day 7
It's been 1 week since panda last saw apple and hada proper chat on the phone le.wonder how apple looks like now... panda and panda baby miss apple soo much... Had been the longest week of my life so far. Now i've come to realise sepearation really makes our hearts love each other more.. sometimes we tend to take things for granted when things are there, and only start to miss the good old days after that. I guess enough of tears has been shed for both of us. We should try to get used to life when apple is in NS, get used to life without meeting so often, and get used to life w/o chatting on the phone b4 we sleep. No longer can we say "Panda hug hug apple, hug hug panda baby.Good nite wan an ming tian jian" everynite.
But all is not that bad after we have adjusted our lives. Panda is still a good boy, never meet/chat wif other ppl whileapple isaway. Panda still love apple as much, if not deeper:) Panda will be there waiting for apple always de, so apple dun need to worry and think too much abt the outside world while in tekong. Apple muz be strong and endure the days in BMT. After apple POP, things will be better and there willbe occasional nites out, or maybe apple can even stay out one!! So apple muz promise panda that you willnot feel sad or depressed when in camp again k? Apple muz go thru the tranin like a MAN, and when you look back at the days during BMT after u POP, its really a fun and enriching experience. Apple shall come out fit fit tann tann wif nice bod... then do chin up and run faster than panda le!!
Hmmm today panda had a wierd dream lei.. dreamt that enduro rented an apartment or wad... then like we sleep wif him lei.... eeee:) then there was some orgy goin on also.. Lols.. Panda today stayed at home till 3plus, then see nice whether and so went down for a jog... grrr... either the fatigue from last week's soccer is still there, so panda's fitness really drop liao, I stop runnin after runnin 3/4 x 2.4km.... can can... I've booked my IPPT on 4 Jan.. dunno can get silver or not... thnk pass is noprob ba..
Then on the way back found out the lift was down.... thot it was a que that i should climb the stairs to keep fit... I did, and also called the HDb for lift repair... When I went back the house had power failure... and so I looked down at teh traffic lights from my house.. found out that it was not jux my block.. prob the area... luckily it wasn't at nite... but w/o warm shower I couldbath and had nthing to do.... After a while i gave up and endured the cold shower.. But bathe half way the power came back and I can finally have a comfortable warm bath..
Went to meet my IA friends after that- ate at the spagetti resturant at Paragon.. quite big one.. dunno wad's it called thou. then chatted, then walked down orchard road, till center point then went into the mac, bot the ice-cream, then sat down and chat till abt 10pm... After that went toilet then go home le... Grr the 190so crowded i had to stand tillbt panjang then go place to sit..
Hmmm as for tmr, I'll be goin skool do project till evenign time then will go NS friend seagent house play mj.. hmmm guess one thing good about NS is that you can make some friends.. and the 3Sg in unit will be pretty close to us de.. so apple muz make more NS friends aLSO.. think tmr will play MJ till am ba..
It's late le.. panda gotta sleep le... hugs panda baby to sleep... miss apple so lotlotlotlot.. But let's countdown. It's down to Fri, Sat, and 1/2 Sun!!!! 2 1/2 days left!!!!! very fast de.....
Missing Apple Day 5
One turn eyes, its been 5 days le. Strangely, I've been counting down to 24th Dec several times each day, not to X'mas, but to seeing apple when he book out for the first time. It also reminds me of the dayz when I was in Army and countin down to my next book out day also:) lol
It's another rainny day. Wonder where all the water that is pourin on the poor island come from. As i returned from lunch, we went pass the bt batok area and many sightings caugth my eyes. First I saw a club house situated at a high level ground in bt batok, and water was flowing down like a water fall. Was quite a splendid view, I muz say. The first natural waterfall in singapore:). Then as I travelled further, there was a minor landslide that made part of the road completely soaked with yellow mud, and one of the tree had fallen off. As I reached home and was listening to the radio and news, It seemed that several areas in Singapore had suffered the same fate, trees falling off, water levels rised up to waist length... lol but ironically, Panda like rainly weathers. Ilike to watch the rain from my window, and normally loves persistent rain.
I was also wondering if such weather also brings good news to Apple.. well, rainny weather= CAT 1= training cancelled sounds like good news. After hearing about apple's trouble this afternoon, panda got worried-and sad as well. hmmm I guess apple was feelin emotional partly cos of the rain and due to training being cancelled ba. Somehow I wish to see the sun again. Then I can go swimming and apple will not hu si luan xiang and become tann tann when he comes out:) Yes, apple better hope the rainny season quickly goes away else you'll have water-bed when you go for field camp:)
ytd when to cine wif keeto to watch cinderella.. grr after the show we still dun really understand the plot. I still dunno if the person is alive or is ghost! grr apple muz watch then tell me:) Also bot a x'mas prezzie for apple wor:) Again it was raining heavily and everyone in orchard was walking along the sheltered area, making it sooo cramped.. Went home at 10+ then do my project till like 3am??
Tmr will be goin skool again.. so it doesn't matter if it continues to rain or not... but I need to train for my IPPT and go swim!!! hope the sun comes back in the afternoon ba. It's left wif Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat and 1/2 x Sun. Miss Apple!!!!
Missin Apple Day 3
hmmm it's Sunday today. Feeling better today. Last nite went Holland Village watch soccer wif junwei, kim and chee kiang. lol and panda won both matches, guessed the corrent number of goals for both of them and won $6 per match = $12!! heehee and the best thing was, panda did not choose the numbers to guess but rather they chose first and I took the last choice for both matches still can win! lol solucky.. budden the Big 2 panda lost a bit la...
chee kiang gonna buy car car le, toyota vios red license plate de only like 37k! he now start his work as army officer le.. he's in charge of the drivers one.. Junwei is at the army side also got recruit jux went in... those hokkien soilders one.. actually come to think of it the officers and 3Sgs are all around our age only.. out of camp they're jux normalppl so dun need scared of them one lo..
Spent the whole day doin project again.. today rain Super big.. panda started to think of apple again.. was so cold cold.. how i wished apple was here can hug hug.. dunno why when apple went overseas i never missed u that much... now only a mere few days and it feels like months liao. Went to bt timah eat hao liao jux now:) hee hee shall keep it a secret next time bring apple there... The food is to panda's liking, but not sure if apple will like or not.. Ate 1.5 bowls of rice- very seldom I can eat this much these days:)
On the way back, panda was thinking of apple again then tears started to drop again.. can't wait to meet apple or talk to apple.... haven't cried so often for years liao... sad sad:( always wonder how apple is doin there.. haiz.. tmr will be goin skool doproject again.. seems like its terribly behind schedule and many things to complete. Panda is still thinking of wat surprise to give apple... hmmm still counting down to X'mas eve then can finally see apple.. 6 long days to go...
Missin Apple Day 1
hmmm today is apple's first day in army. Hope apple is doin fine there.. panda had a very nice panple day. Feels so nice huggin apple when sleepin:) Panda was also very touched my the x'mas presents which apple gave me. Thank you apple, muarks!
Well, the reason why i wanted to post after apple gointo NS is so that we (not jux u:) would not get too emotional.. actually dunno why while panda was driving home from amk after our panple day, panda began to think of the next 2 years where apple will be spendin most time in camp, and started to get emotional also. In a way, i guess it was becos of the rain? or maybe i was in someway like the male character in the movie we watched the previos nite? Although panda always said NS would a fun and good learning experience for apple, but when it realli came, I began to realise that it would also mean that we would have less time tgt, or even tok on the phone! qi qi..
Panda missed apple a lot today. Spent most of my time at home working on my project and thinkin of apple. is apple botak liao? got get scolded by 3sg? lolx.. Finally came apple's free admin time at 10+; finally can hear apple's voice:) but when apple said cannot call everyday (else you would feel sad), panda felt very sad also..sobz.. thou' we'll onli be partin for 1 week, it is somehow very different from the other occasions where we part for overseas trip. Panda have never missed apple so much before. and the tears are back after so long....
Apple going army le...
Its now 11:42pm, 14th Dec 2006... Apple is going into army in about 9 hours +... Now having mixed feelings (bai3 gan3 jiao1 ji2)... A bit excited, a bit scared, a bit happy, a bit worried, a bit of anticipation, a bit of sadness...
Apple shouldnt be too emotional now ba, later go camp cry cry ppl laugh den can can... But apple gonna miss panda baby panda baby... luckily can come out next weekend, jus 1 week only... Shall take everything like a MAN! YEAH!
Hmm apple gonna come back botak and tanned tanned, and without a TUMMY(hopefully)! Yay... But first time botak in like 15 years? So weird... Wonder how everything's gonna be like... Hopefully got nice sgts etc, and most importantly nice section mates!
When apple not around, panda muz take care of panda baby ok? Gonna miss u 2... Muack muack hug hug.......... Buai buai...
Panple Day (Pre-X'mas 2006)
Yay... apple, panda and panda baby had our panple day (in replacement of X'mas 2006) frm 13th to 14th Dec, cos apple is going to the army... so sad...
Anywayz, we met up in the morning, ate at Warung M. Nasir along Killiney Road, then adjourned to Sentosa Island... Wanted to go suntan and play at the beach, but the weather was super cloudy, so just walked around, took some pics and took a ride on the beach tram(s)...
After Sentosa, we proceeded to check in to our hotel den drove to Haji Lane to walk around and ate the uber-delicious Kaya Sundae at the uber-chic though really small PLUCK... that place is cool! what a charismatic area...
It started to rain as we were walking around there, so we decided to proceed to our next stop: Super nice dinner at PS Cafe on Harding Road! The place is so nice!!!! Let the pics do the talking ba... We ordered the PS Mojito, Moussaka and Duck Leg Rendang...
After dinner, it was surprise time and TC fun... hehe...
After TC, went to The Cathay for weekday midnite movie... Watched The Holiday... Not bad...
