Another week...
Hmm apple leaving for Tekong le, and we've to endure another week of separation... At least its not gonna be a 2-week period like the last bk in when there was even a field camp week that we cant even tok or sms each other... Apple is glad field camp is over, but SIT test sounds even more dreadful than field camp...
It'd pass quite fast ba, and by Wednesday it'd be a 2 and 1/4 day countdown to bk out... Really really looking forward to chinese new year right now, coz its like apple's only consolation and relief from the army life... Gonna stuff myself like mad during CNY... After CNY will be A level results, den soon it'd be POP le...
Apple will always cross out one week frm the calendar in my notebook after every week, keep counting down to POP, makes it easier somehow... At least now got chance to meet Daniel at cookhouse, den maybe can feel a bit better oso... Actually its not all that bad lar, jus hoping it'd be over soon lor...
Apple will think of panda and baby every nite, panda muz oso do this oso ok... Always love u lot lot... Muackz! Next weekend gonna be bz, but shall find some time for panda and baby... Maybe Saturday after 10pm? Apple shall hold on to every little bit of hope here and there, so that it becomes more bearable ba... :)

Hmmm have been almost 2 weeks since panda and panda baby last saw apple le...
Panda baby and panda xiang apple lot lot lot.. Wonder how was life in field camp... hee hee muz be tiring and uncomfortable since apple cannot bathe.. lol.. The combat ration muz have been terrible ba.. lol like that apple then noe what is ugly to eat then next time wun be so choosy ma...
Panda have been so busy wif skool work le.. Now so sianz with the project.. do the PCB until almost mad le... Cos need to send outside to fabricate then quite ex de, scared got mistake or wat then die... Imagine Drawing line by line......
Hmmm panda last wed went TC then saw CG again:) Hee Hee then we chat chat then now panda got one more di di le... oops.. lol panda only left 2 times free entry le, can can... next time go its like $25 lo... soooo ex... go 17 better.. but dunno where my membership card lei.. lost le:(

Yeah apple gonna be back in 4 days time le... Panda baby can't wait for apple to come back... lol. Hmmmm panda slept late over the weekends then these 2 days have deen sotiring even thou i wake up at 10+.. the lesson also dunno wad they walking about... and FYP progress have been so slow.. panda feel like giving up on fighting for the 2nd class upper and juz slack le...
So lost my motivaton cos so mani things in the FYP has been not what i wanted... guess have to get used to it ba,.. next time when work also have to do watever the boss/ company think is right lo... juz walk one step see one stepp ba,...
Sat went to holland V with junwei they all watch soccer as usual... went there reserved teh seat le but still had to wait till 10 pluz for our fav sofa seats.. then our dinner at 10 pluz lo... panda ate the King King burger:) lol sooo full... cannot really finsh .. got fries. 2 beef burgers, the bread x 2, vege and coleslaw... can can... oh ya.. someone asked junwe to help them take a pic.. thenn panda took his pic at the meantime:) guang ming zhen da take la:)
After that they still went eat prata at the NUS there... panda sooo full le, so juz had a drink... lol think i gonna grow fat again now that i'm injured and so long never exercise le... Apple's sufferin in field camp then panda and baby feasting:) lol... hmmm it'll soon be over leba. This weekend we can eat choc buffet le... omg.. its gnna be so sinful... panda shall start running soon....

then haf to wait for no one there then he dare come out... lol... Hmmm then he say wan go in rom tang tang... then we for 1/2 hr liddat juz chat chat tang tang...

Hmmm then ytd also saw the 30yo pluz guy, he interested in the CG de.. grr then saw us then chatted so long.. he like so experience there... noe so mani ppl and noe whether they top or btm lor.. After that we went mac donald eat supper... then took nite rider home... the trip was quite fast.. $3.. not that bad la.. better then taking cab lei.. next time we muz take:)
Later panda going holland v watch soccer le.. got 2 big matches between the top 5 teams... gotta be nice.. then can eat the meal there... will be expensive but once in a while ok ba.. lol ytd went help my bro collect money he gave me $50 heheee so got money eat:)

Hmmm today apple told me he become platoon ic.. lol kinna happy for apple cos he can learn more skills being platoon IC.. how to coordinate ppl and time, how to do things faster, talk louder, and then communicate wif ppl:) Guess its was a good experience ba:) 3 days very fast over de... compared wif the some many days of not seein apple..
Went Tc in the evening, reached abt 7.30... Hmm not much cg, juz one or 2. Panda went to the jacuzzi first, then steam room, then went to the sofa there see newspaper... Then suddenly a guy, over 30s beside me talked to me... say wat my shoulder bones very protrude, muz be too much typing in computer.. then wanna massage for me.. then he was touching my shoulder and rubbing lor... then i say dun need, no thanks... he continues, said my eyesight no good, then so thin digestion no good... then he wanna help me massage then can improve.... after a while panda juz walked away... went steam room again....
After that went to the dark room... walked a few rounds, onli saw 1 or 2 cg... budden went back cannot find them ler... grrr... panda was about to be prepared to go home empty handed le... then saw someone we noe there.... Guess who???

no... its jacoob... then talked to him, then went walked our own ways,.... then saw him standing at a place.. then beside him got a cg:) then i asked him the guy to his right c?? then he said no bad.. then as brave as usual he went to tok to him... that cg came wif another firend.. quite short and ugly de.. then they very shy de.. go TC juz stand there never do b4 de... then we introed each other started toking... wanted 4 some, but they like dun wan... so jacoob went to find othe rtargets and left panda and him.. (after a while his friend went off le cos he meetin someone).... then the guy we often saw (nick is skool boi, u said) was targetting jacoob. then when jacoob went off he tot that CG was jocoob, cos they look quite alike... lol he so blur de.. then now the 3 of us toking...
Then came another guy, over 30 de, not my type, wanted noe the cg also... but he quite friendly then we talked... after a while panda, the skoolboi, and the cg exchange contact b4 the skoolboi went home.. Hmmm panda asked the cg again he dun wanna pong ah? he like very shy then juz stand there onli, never cruise ppl also... so panda went home le...
lol suddenly jacoob's presence made panda noe so mani more ppl... if not panda juz walk around also nthing to do de.....

Today went to send apple off back to tekong b4 the tortourous 12 days w/o being able to meet apple.. so can.. hope the 12 days can pass faster and things will be better after the field camp le. Here's some pics taken while waiting for apple to assemble with the platoon.

While in the bus interchange saw some soilders, together wif their gf. Panda fully emphatise with their feelings. Guess its really a bad feeling to be seperated with our loved ones when one is in army. Panda didn't have any relationship during my tekong days and the only gua nian was "home sweet home", Poor apple gonna miss both panda and home. But apple muz learn to adapt and be independent k.
Yesterday, Sat went out with apple. Panda put onmy newly bot jacket and here's one of my fav pics taken with apple.

Finally,dunno why can upload the pics le. Here's Panda's ECG signal taken with my friend's circuit board.
I'm using a different circuit board altogether. Here's what I got using my own board. But those oscillations you see are due to the 50Hz power line interference, which can be stronger than the heart signal and amplified together my my ECG. Will need to filter out this frequency component. Hoping to post a better signal the next time.
And Here's the new shirt(s) that panda bot from the bazaar.. The jacket bot from weijun... lol apple guess how much...

Today is Wed le, third day of skool. But panda had to wake up 'early' cos got lecture at 10am... But panda lai chuang till 9.30 liddat, reached the LT at 1030.. First topic is mostly intro so not that impt ba.. Then at 12 the lesson ended and panda went back to fix my stupid PCB, which has been giving stupid problems due to poor soldering.. Panda replaced the wires with better ones, and found a way that solves the problem i've been having over the last few months- that the signal take a long time to show on the scope after restart...
Hmmm after that I was able to get better results. Quite a fruitful day in terms of project's development ba. Thou' there's still a lot of work to be done. Yesterday was very qi with my sup cos Panda had a brilliant idea, and proposed to him to implement that.. Then he always say.. "no, you don't do that..." Cos we wanna inplement 3 channels for the ECG waveform, and 3 channels would mean more components required and our design bigger. Panda suggested that the user can actually select the channel to transmit thru the mobile phone, and I can do a circuit that switches the correct channel to transmit. But without knowing the full details of it he say cannot... grrr!!! Then if we do juz 1 channel i'm afraid cannot get good marks lei:( Anyway..long story panda dun wanna say...

Panda seem to be drowning myself with all the workload so that I wun missapple so much.. But today after finishing the workat abt 6 pluz panda think of apple again... So long never see apple le, kinna like the first 1 week pluz onli... But juz now got to hear apple's voice so now feel better le.. Panda everynite will hug hug panda baby and take good care of him de.. We everynite b4 sleep also wish apple good nite wan an ming tian jian... hug hug apple hug hug panda baby.. hug hug tite tite hug hug long long... Guess it's another 2.5 days more to endure...
First Day of Skool..
Today was the first day of skool, went to skool wif my back slanted again... On the way to skool, panda went to Ngee Ann ploy to buy lunch.. so mani CGs there... drools.... bot sweet sour chicken and eat, pluz 03 x tu tu kuay, pluz melon juice.. lol.. then da bao, wanted to eat in car while waiting for a carpark lot in NUS. But dunno why when i'm not in hurry then so lucky can find lot de.. Ended up eating in the car.. then as i was packin my bag, i spilled the honey melon juice on my pants and car seat!@!! qi qi...
Then went to weijun's baazar during the lesson break... grr all teh shirt not nice de, looked quite cheapo, $20 somemore.. but a jacket caught my eye.. but seldom haf chance to wear lei.. He said it was sellin at $35, then sell me $30... Hmmm panda tot maybe go clubbin or cold weather can buy, so helped him buy..
Hmmm the nite b4, panda saw teh post on missed connection: Thou I kinna expected him the post, it was quite unusual to find someone lookin for me there:) Here's wad he posted:

Grr and i went to the bus stop cos I was limping badly and was quite painful so sat at the busstop to rest... dunno why i walked so slow he still say caught up wif me... When he said 'Hi' to me in the limbang carpark, i was kinna shocked and ignored him.. he overtake me, then suddenly walked slow and let me walk so that he can follow me again. Finally went in the lift, but sensing that he would follow me further, I deliberately pressed 10th storey, before goin to 13th, then 14th to mislead him.. When I finally reached 13th, the other lift went to the 10th storey... phew:) he would have found out where i stayed if i wasn't smart:)
Hmmm another long day tmr, lesson 1-2pm, meet kangliang forproject 2-4pm, then 4-6pm lessonP:( Guess keeping myself busy is good in a way it makes panda less love sick.. but occasionally panda and panda baby will think of apple, and count down to the number of days left before the next book out... Its another 3.5 days to Fri evening. Miss apple lots...
Uneventful New Year '07 part 2
Fell asleep minutes before panda reached apple house to bring apple and baby to watch fireworks and countdown... Woke up at 12:47am horrified that i missed it, overslept and made panda wait for me for sooooooo long... That feeling was so frustrating, guilty, sad, sorry, dunno-wad-to-do all put together... It was such a heart-wringing (or gek sim) feeling, that apple missed that moment wif panda... It is like once u miss it, it's never going to come back again... Apple felt so lost...
Right now, even if panda say that u dun blame me or not angry wif me, I still feel really bad inside, and there seems to be nothing I can do to make up for it, or to make myself feel better that I missed that moment wif u and its never going to come back again...
Yes, we do haf a lot of differences, sometimes more than our similarities I think... But I like to think that the differences brought us together even more... Somehow apple going to NS has made our outings more precious, but we (or either one of us) seem to become beri quick-tempered in the outings... Like x'mas eve oso...
Apple now in NS, cant call panda everyday, and the several-calls-a-day routine is even more impossible... We cant ask each other wad we're doing at the moment, and can't just not talk on the fone and listen to each other's background noise... Apple is homesick most of the time over in tekong, while panda at home would be missing apple... While apple would be occupied by the many things to do over there, panda shd be having a harder time trying to adapt to life without apple, and even getting worried about apple in ns...
We're both in beri bad mood right now, but apple hope that we can make it through this rough patch and be as happy as ever before... May the new year bring with it better times, especially in letting us adapt to life with apple in NS...
Uneventful New Year'07
After rushing all the way from west coast to amk to reach by 11pm so that we cud catch the fireworks, I found myself counting down to the start of 2007 alone in the car, in tears. As I braced myself and struggled thru the jam in Marina area, crawling towards chinatown, my mind remained serene despite the traffic and the crowd. I checked out the various places- Taboo, Happy, WhyNot. All had a long queue before the gates. Hoped to be enjoying inside, but we seem to lead so very different lives.
We have so much differences, different hobbies, likes, dislikes, and 'operating hours'. Its been an unhappy x'mas and new year eve.
