Panple Day 110208
Yay... Apple, panda and panda baby celebrated our first PPD in 2008 on the 11th of Feb for panda's 26th BDAY!!!!
Panda is 26yo le... so fast... Apple and panda used to be so young... Apple was 15 and panda was 21... Now we've both grown up, but apple still look so young hehe...
Anyway we had dinner at Relish @ Cluny Court along Bukit Timah Rd... It had some 'posh' burgers and wasn't too ex, apple is glad that panda liked it... If go too expensive place panda also won't appreciate, so many things don't eat one... Actually apple was considering Breeze at Scarlet Hotel, but it's closed on Sundays... Then wanted to try Wild Rocket @ Mt Sophia (Relish's parent restaurant), but went recce-ing with Damien and found out they were closed for CNY and would open only on the 13th...
Apple was thinking of buying cake/chocolates for panda, at first wanted to buy from Pine Garden at AMK, got cheap cheap and beri nice cake cake... But then saw a mini cake from Bakerzin while at Taka, so apple called to reserve one of those that morning... It was a V-day cake with images of the Karma Sutra (ancient Indian sex book) hehe... Not too big so that we could finish it... But apple dun think it was beri nice lei, should have bought from Canele or what if I had the money...
After dinner we went to Chinatown point to fetch Ben Ben from work, then went to St James... That night not many ppl at first, so we got our chops and went to Lau Pa Sat for Ben Ben's dinner... After that was clubbing, music wasn't beri good lor, then panda and ben ben had to work the next day, so went back quite early le...

Panple day trip to KL 2007
So long neber post le... Hullo panda and panda baby!!!
Stay... Hmm apple, panda and panda baby went on our first overseas trip to KL on 21st December 2007 to celebrate our panple day... Apple and baby so excited, first time going overseas with panda... Stayed at the budget TuneHotels for our first night, followed by ultra luxurious JW Marriott on the 2nd... The hotel spa was sooooo nice, free somemore... Got jacuzzi, hot and cold, got sauna, steamroom, lounge, magazines, tv, free water... Even had RM50 voucher for massage but didn't get to use...
Food... We also ate many many nice nice hawker food... Got the famous famous hokkien mee, panda's first time eating it, apple hope panda liked it... Also ate penang fried kway teow and yong tau foo in that meal... First day lunch apple wanted to look for the Ipoh Hor Fun, which was actually beri near the bus interchange, but it was closed!!!! Then 2nd and 3rd day oso didn't get the chance to eat it, quite pity... But coz the hor fun was closed, we ate at the Hokkien Mee coffeeshop, apple ate pork noodles while panda ate wonton mee, and the goreng pisang panda bought was nice... That coffeeshop also got beri beri nice pineapple tarts and egg tarts! All in all, we went to that coffeeshop all 3 days of our trip! Think that coffeeshop got soooooooo many nice nice food to eat lor... Hmm 2nd morning we went to eat claypot bak kut teh, near the coffeeshop again, and bought the pineapple tarts... Lunch was at Kim Gary restaurant in Sungei Wang Plaza... Dinner was rather frustrating... Apple wanted to go to the holland V of KL, Bangsar, to eat at nice nice restaurant... But forgot y ended up eating at the hotel... The hotel got many many posh restaurants oso, den panda wanted to eat at the Thai one, so we ate there... Food was quite unexpectedly good... We ate the pomela and prawn salad, with very nice roasted coconut bits, den got pineapple fried rice, beef w/ vege stir fry, vegetarian tofu and papaya salad, and the roast duck + lychee in red curry... Beri Special!! The food was good, although it wasn't an entirely romantic meal as apply wanted it to be...
Fun... Apple and panda oso went to many places to shop shop, but didn't really buy a lot of things... 1st day went to KLCC where the Twin Towers are, and Petaling St, the chinatown... Where apple got really super pissed off with that fucking stupid vcd seller!!! *point middle finger* hehe... 2nd day went to walk walk at Bukit Bintang since our hotel was there... Walked around sungei wang plaza, lot 10, many other dunno wad shopping centres and the Pavilion, a new posh mall beside our hotel, a bit like paragon lidat... Last day we went to the big big Times Square where panda say is nicer to shop at... Next time then go there longer ba... hehe... We oso went to the Chakran spa, but it was sooooo quiet, like less than 5 ppl, and facilities not gd de, was like a normal house... But the rooftop jacuzzi was not bad, a lot of plants, beri peaceful setting... Met this local malay guy Luke there oso... Hehe, quite nice ba, but think he was more interested in panda... After the spa, we took train to chinatown there to look for Liquid Bar, supposedly the hippest aj club in KL, only to find no crowd, no sound, no lights!!! GRRR... it's closed down already!!! Think shd be beri long le lor... hmm... den sadly went back hotel, walk around the area, went to Ritz Carlton next door to explore, den went back hotel room to... hehe... and sleep...

apple shall post pics from our zoo trip first ba... panda baby was wondering y no panda in the zoo, he wanted to look for his relatives... was quite a fun trip, but so tiring to walk the whole zoo... apple and panda went to eat the long long neber eat durian strudel at upp thomson after that...
hmm forgot which day we oso went to eat the super duper uber nice sticky date pudding with vanilla bean ice cream at Marmalade Pantry Palais Renaissance! sooooooo nice!!!!! apple thinks its the simplest and most heartwarming dessert i've ever eaten!

No longer happy....
Today was my job interview and when they accepted my application, Panda was so delighted and wanted to share the joy wif apple. During the phone conversation panda kept mentioning abt the incidents in the interview, and then apple said panda is like a kid, keep on mentioning abt the interview, and that panda look old in the tie. Panda's joy immediately subsided. Apple did not share my joy and excitment at all.
I know what apple said was probably trival, but it felt like a bucket of cold water splashed onto me.
